The recent weeks have been lackluster to say the least where the DJIA is concerned, and investors have been running scared as a result.  Gold came within breathing space of the 00.00 mark, and everyone seems to be running towards another bubble.  The immediate future of the US stock market has called into question the stability of the entire economy, and while there are still some investors who are willing take a risk most are walking away.  Until stocks are truly in the “bargain bin” the sentiment will probably remain shaky, there needs to be some seriously good deals out there for the market to bounce back.  Until that happens the USD will continue to struggle against other major currencies on the online forex exchange, and while this is the case investors should consider their moves very carefully.

The real estate market seems to be one of the safest places to go at the moment, home values are oversold and bargains are abound.  This has become a market for very few people though, banks are not nearly as likely to issue mortgages, and very few people have the money to buy a home outright.  This situation has necessitated the use of appraisal experts in nearly every home deal, and the ability to have foresight where possible repairs may be needed are critical.  Houses have become the next bargain bin item, and while still moderately expensive as a purchase made outright there is value there.  The investment community is already beginning to take notice and is converting various properties into rentals and other types of investment properties. 

The current sentiment in the market where property is concerned is still vastly one of fear; there is a good deal of concern that the market will once again bottom out.  This has driven many investors to the edge and back where the whole thing is concerned, time and again this seems to be the reality just prior to a market taking off.  Property values will start to rise steadily in the next several years, the bargain bin will not last.  Meanwhile Wall Street is poised to make another move in the market, and this time there will be many more winners than losers.  Gold is a bubble that many people are sitting on at this point; it is not an “inflation proof” tool as many have toted it in the past.  Taking advantage of the bubble in the short term is still a good idea though.
