ok i have a demat a/c and i bought some shares 4-5 years back… just spontanenously.. but i realised tht a/c has been idle for really long and now i really donno how to get started… I dont keep track of the stock market to decide what stocks to buy ? so my question is can any of u guide me as to what are things we need to do on a daily basis to get an overview of how the stock market runs?? i am specifically talking about the indian stock matkets? any inputs on that front will really help…

you need to do quite a bit of homework, firstly to know which markets you have access to then you need to see if the company you registered with offers you free software to monitor the market and make decision, use a test or dummy account before you start losing your money. the important thing to look for is a strategy and stick to it “STICK TO IT” oh and make sure you use no more than 5% of your money to trade at any given time. it is very very important to be patient and manage your money
